Welcome to the Parent Hub page where you can access all of the forms and documents that we need you to complete if your child attends GroWild Kindergarten.

Please only complete these forms if you have been requested to do so by a member of our team.

Settle Sessions

Access our calendar to book three settle sessions for your child/children before they start with us a GroWild.

- 1 hour session - you will attend for the duration with your child/children and their key person.

- 1 hour session - your child/children will attend alone and be with their key person within the setting.

- 2 hour session - your child will attend alone and be with their key person within the setting.

There are two options:

- Use the 1-Hour calendar twice to book two 1-hour sessions. Once you have booked the first session, please select ‘Book Another Appointment’ or come back to this page to book your second session.

- Use the 2-Hour calendar once to book one 2-hour session.

Baseline Review

Please complete the appropriate child baseline review. This document helps track your child’s development in language, social skills and physical abilities, making it essential for these reasons:

- Understand Growth: It identifies your child’s current skills and any areas where they may need extra support.

- Consistency: Sharing it with teachers or caregivers ensures everyone is on the same page about your child’s needs.

- Set Goals: We can use this as a starting point to set personalised goals that support your child’s unique progress.

- Track Progress: It provides a reference to celebrate growth and address any emerging needs over time.

Completing this helps support your child’s growth and tailor their learning experiences with us at GroWild. We want to understand and meet your child where they are at currently in order to provide the best scaffolding for their learning and development.

The forms are not a checklist of skills/behaviours that your child should be doing by a certain age. They are simply suggestions and areas of focus for early years practitioners to create plans of learning for your child. It would be rare that a child would be displaying signs of ALL of the statements suggested.

Second Setting

Does Your Child Attend A Second Setting?

We would like to make contact with other settings to ensure we have a whole picture of your child, so that we can share interests and experiences and extend on their learning. Working in partnership with parents/carers and other settings is such an important part  of supporting your children to grow and develop.

Please complete the form below if your child attends another setting to give consent for us to contact them.

Allergy Management Form

Please complete the Allergy Management Form if your child has an allergy that does or does not require medication.

Also complete the Long Term Medication Form if your child does require medication.

Being Tick Aware

Please click the link below for information on how to avoid tick bites from Public Health England (PHE). We are providing you with this information as your child is attending an outdoor setting.

Tick bites are a risk in any outdoor space including home gardens and communal park areas. We follow the guidance from PHE within our setting and staff regularly manage the risk of ticks within the spaces that we use in the woodland. On the rare occasion that your child has a tick bite we will notify you immediately and recommend that you follow PHE advice.

As per our clothing policy:

- We require children to have long sleeves and long trousers in both winter and summer. This is particularly important in the summer to protect from tick bites, sun burn, stinging nettles and thorns. Parents/carers leaving children at GroWild unattended must ensure that they have appropriate spare clothing with them.

- Please remember that insect repellent must be applied to your child's skin, paying particular attention to the neck/behind the ears/hairline before each session. We can continue to apply insect repellent throughout the day for your child.

Please read the guidance provided and if you have any additional queries regarding this then please feel free to speak to a member of staff.

Famly App Login

You can use the Famly app to send us messages, view your child’s progress, link your Tax Free Childcare account, inform us of absences and much more!

You will be invited to the app via an email around your child’s start date. Click on the 'create a password' link to activate your account (and set a password).

On clicking the link, a new screen will open. Here you will need to enter your chosen password and confirm it. Once you've done this, you can log in.

Tax Free Childcare Using The Famly App

If you'd like to pay your invoices using Tax-free Childcare (TFC), you can add this as a payment method in your Famly app payment settings. This connects directly to us at GroWild.

You will be able to link your Famly account to your TFC account to start making payments.

About Tax Free Childcare:

You can get up to £500 every 3 months (up to £2,000 a year) for each of your children to help with the costs of childcare. This goes up to £1,000 every 3 months if a child is disabled (up to £4,000 a year).

If you get Tax-Free Childcare, you’ll set up an online childcare account for your child. For every £8 you pay into this account, the government will pay in £2 to use to pay your provider.

You can get Tax-Free Childcare at the same time as 15 or 30 hours free childcare if you’re eligible for both.

Your eligibility depends on:

- whether you’re working (employed, self-employed, or a director)

- your income (and your partner’s income, if you have one)

- your child’s age and circumstances

- your immigration status
